The Flyer Retirement Focus on Heritage Will Writers Life is always changing and moving on and Heritage Will Writers is no different. We have refi ned our procedures and employed only the best trained staff to continue our second to none customer service and ongoing support and advice to existing clients and to the new clients we are adding every year. The company now has two directors, Kathy Long and Stuart Burrell, with a 35-strong team of staff to cover all areas of estate planning, admin, probate and marketing. We are determined and passionate to continue educating the public on an area of the law many people shy away from until circumstances arise. With dramatic changes to family and social trends, we are faced with more complex issues with how and what we will leave our loved ones and it has never been more important to have a Will in place so that you decide where your assets go. For the last 18 years we have simplifi ed these procedures, along with the transition of assets for clients at the most diffi cult of times. We promise to continue to be there as and when we are needed, whether it’s next year or in another 18 years, because Peace of Mind Matters. Give our team a call on 01603 894500 to ask for a free advice appointment in the comfort of your home. Saffron Walden Town Library has served many generations as a wonderful quarry of knowledge and ideas. Like many such libraries, its future may be increasingly questioned when so many books and journals are now readily available online. This talk will explore numerous ways in which the library does in fact have unique and enduring value through the individual and collective histories to be found among the books of George Gibson and others. David Pearson has recently retired as Director of Culture, Heritage & Libraries for the City of London Corporation, having previously worked in numerous major libraries and collections, including the British Library, the V&A, and the Wellcome Library. He has also written and lectured extensively on aspects of books and their history, and on how they have been owned, used or bound; his books include Provenance Research in Book History (1994), English Bookbinding Styles (2004), and Books as History (2008). Please note the earlier start time of this meeting. Non-members are welcome to attend but may not take part in the business of the meeting.
