Public Survey # 2 is now open .
Natalie explained that our plan is prioritizing projects along the High Injury Network , which makes up 5.7 % of Arlington ' s streets and accounts for 70 % of all fatal and serious injury crashes involving someone driving or riding as a passenger . On the pedestrian and bicycle HIN , 1.3 % of Arlington ' s streets account for 50 % of all fatal and serious injury crashes involving someone walking or biking . The HIN will be used as an integral element of project prioritization in deployment of projects and in seeking funding .
The Action Plan will include a comprehensive set of actions to target the safe system elements , safe road users , safe vehicles , safe speeds , as Josh described .
