Instructor: Young Rembrandts' Staff Fee: $98/7 weeks Ages: 1st-6th grades Location: Cordillera Elementary ASP3742 Fri Jan 8 2:20-3:20 pm In our “Bricks 4 Kidz Engineering” class using LEGO® bricks, students will experience hands-on engineering fundamentals as they build different motorized models that relate to a given theme. Each week, students will build a different invention or gadget and will learn the mechanics and engineering principles behind each model (examples include a walking spider, rotating tornado, a dragster or a catapult). Through our structured builds, students will develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Our student “inventors” will learn why, where and how these inventions work. Once the project is completed, children use the rest of their time to expand their gadgets and collaborate with one another. Students are also encouraged to create their own inventions using our huge tub of LEGO® bricks!* Make learning FUN! * Rahi Mirghavami ~ (949) 484-5346 Fee: $115/5 weeks Ages: 1st-6th grades Location: Del Cerro Elementary ASP3755 Wed Jan 13 1:20-2:20 pm Location: Del Lago Elementary ASP3756 Mon Jan 11 2:15-3:15 pm Location: Foothill Elementary ASP3757 Fri Jan 15 3:00-4:00 pm Location: Portola Hills Elementary ASP3758 Mon Jan 11 2:20-3:20 pm Masters of the Field This fun, outside class allows children to learn strategy, team work, and academic skills, all while getting a work out!
