Here are some helpful tips to keep your children safe and healthy while they enjoy the summer fun. Adult Summer Dining Guide Water Safety Drowning is the cause for more deaths among children ages 1-4 than any other cause except birth defects. Two to three children die every day as a result of drowning. • Teach kids to swim. Professional swimming lessons can protect young children from drowning. • Children should always be supervised by a responsible adult when in or around water. • Learn cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). CPR skills can save lives. • Install a child proof fence around home pools. Recreational boating is a fun way to spend time with family and friends. Boating safety is a must.
