SOCIAL CLASSES English Writing Zoom Robotics Power up with us! This team-oriented robotics class allows students to engage with computer programming in order to make robots come to life! The program is based on national science education standards and allows students to experience first-hand the world of competition robotics. Students will learn to use LEGO MINDSTORMS’ competition NXT kits and programming language to work individually and create the coolest robot and program them to perform basic tasks around the classroom. Come spark your interest with robots, learn some cool skills and maybe you will be next year’s champion! Fear not, as our writing workshop is for the aspiring author of any level! This class is especially for older students, male and female, to learn how to improve their skills. Learn how to sing better, how to read music, and even how to move on stage. At the same time learn new pop songs at Glee Team. Bring a sack lunch every day and be ready to have a ton of fun. On Thursday, we will be heading to the Orange County Fair. Call time for the show is 10:15 am and the performance is at 12:15 pm. We will need parents to help us drive there. Dress: Wear comfortable pants you can move in with closed toed shoes. Emphasizing a creative and inventive process with a no-violence policy, participants will learn the basic mechanics of game-design, object-oriented programming. On the last day we will have a talent show for parents and friends at 11:00am. Sing a solo or sing with friends. Talent show auditions will be Tuesday so come ready with your gig.
