Chicago Office
Chicago Office Works Closely with Archdiocese
This past March, six parishes from the Archdiocese
of Chicago completed the final two modules of
New Dollars/New Partners training. Teams of clergy
and lay leaders arrived at the offices of Catholic
Charities eager to share the progress that they
had made since they last gathered in November of
2011. The group had nearly doubled in size since
gathering for Modules I and II, with parishes
attracting new team members into the fold with the
good work they accomplished between sessions.
St. Patrick Church in Lemont, a small suburban
parish south of Chicago, presented its selfevaluation, calculated with the Public Value Tool
(PVT), which was developed by Partners to help
congregations express the value of their ministries
and programs to their communities. Joe Savino,

of more than 25 ministries at the church. After
