The Agriplas factory, in Cape Town, recently commissioned a pipe extrusion line to extrude flat dripper pipe to provide for the growing demand for precision irrigation. This makes Agriplas the only company in South Africa to manufacture flat as well as cylindrical dripper pipe. The latest development in the drip irrigation field, is to manufacture collapsible pipes which take up less space during transport, using flat pressure compensated drippers with self-flushing operations.
Assisting farmers
Agriplas assists farmers to produce more with less water. The brand new 40 metre long pipe extrusion line is fully automated and can produce over 7 kilometres of pipe per hour.
Indeed, Agriplas has been manufacturing and distributing high quality irrigation equipment for over 40 years. They also supply retailers and agents with a wide range of irrigation equipment, from a large range of micro sprinklers, wobblers and farm sprinklers and accessories to pumps, filters and the most advanced automated systems.
