How to connect a DN 110 PVC pipe to a
DN 100 AC pipe
Step 1
Gather the required equipment and materials
ff Obtain a 109-128 coupling (use the selection tables to
obtain the correct coupling size)
ff Spanner to suit the nut sizes on the coupling
ff Angle grinder with masonry cutting disc
ff Marking pen
ff Stiff nylon brush
ff Dust mask and eye protection
ff 110 mm PVC pipe of the correct pressure class and cut
to the required length
Step 2
Trim the AC and PVC pipes using the angle grinder
ff Mark the cut line with the marking pen to ensure a
square cut
ff Use the dust mask and eye protection during the cutting
procedure
ff Clean the joint area using a stiff brush
