Get Help With Winter Weather Repair Assistance

The City of San Antonio has launched an Emergency Resource Call Center ( ERCC ) and website to assist residents affected by the 2021 Texas Severe Winter Storm . Residents can call 311 and select option 5 or 210.207.6000 to connect with a call taker . The ERCC will be open from Monday – Friday from 8 a . m . to 5 p . m .
If you or your family experienced property damage and / or personal property loss because of the 2021 Texas Severe Winter Storm you may be eligible for assistance .
1 . If you have insurance file a claim with your insurance carrier . 2 . If you do not have insurance or need additional assistance because your insurance does not cover the expense and at least one member of your household has a social security number , the Federal Emergency Management Agency ( FEMA )’ s Individual Households Program can help . To file a claim please go to the DisasterAssistance . gov or call 1.800.621 . FEMA ( 3362 ). 3 . If your business or rental property suffered damage , the U . S . Small Business Administration ( SBA )’ s Disaster Loan Assistance Program may help by providing a low interest loan . The applicant must have a social security number to qualify . To file a claim please go to the Disaster Loan Assistance website or call 1.800.659.2295 . 4 . If you do not qualify for FEMA assistance , the Community Pipe Repair Fund managed by the San Antonio Water System ( SAWS ) can help . The program will prioritize emergency pipe repair that risks causing harm to the life , health , or safety of the occupants .
• To qualify for the program , the applicant must not be eligible for FEMA assistance and their home value cannot exceed $ 140,000 or have an annual income at or below 140 % of the Federal Poverty Level ($ 18,032 for an individual or $ 37,100 for a family of 4 ).
