Mark and his family own and manage 2,500 of their own rental houses and apartments in Texas . They also own , manage and develop rental apartments , houses , farms and offices in the United Kingdom , Ireland , Italy and Cyprus . Mark is a Past President of the San Antonio Apartment Association ( SAAA ), Past President of the Texas Apartment Association ( TAA ). Mark is also a National Apartment Association ( NAA ) Regional Vice President and Chairperson of the NAA Global Outreach Committee . Mark is a very proud recipient of the SAAA Stanley Hammer Award , which is given to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the San Antonio area apartment industry while acting in an honest and ethical manner .
