Election Results
Dear SAAA Members ,
We are pleased to share that all the candidates and incumbents our association supported in the general election on November 8th , won their elections ! We look forward to continuing our strong working relationships with elected officials , on both sides of the aisle , and welcoming those newly elected for the first time to the Texas House and Senate .
Many of you already know how impactful our advocacy work is , and how important having the right elected officials to work with is to accomplish our goals . Your personal participation in our Political Action Committee fuels our ability to make that happen .

San Antonio Apartment Association POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE
Day at the Capitol is coming up on March 1 , 2023
The Texas Apartment Association “ Day at the Capitol ” is a special day of rental housing advocacy during the early part of the Texas Legislative Session and around the time of the TAA spring quarterly board meeting . Members from across Texas gather in Austin to meet with state representatives about key legislation that impacts our industry . The day includes morning briefings on key legislative issues with tips to help you advocate effectively , and an evening reception for TAA members and Texas Legislators .
Attendees from SAAA are broken up into teams to attend meetings with their elected representatives . As volunteer leaders , you have a chance to share personal stories about how legislation that is on the agenda for the session could positively , or negatively , impact your businesses .
Would you be interested in joining the delegation travel to Austin and participate in advocacy ? Let us know by submitting a quick questionnaire !
SAAA is considering having a charter bus take members to and from Austin for this event so please let us know in the questionnaire if you will ride the bus .
