he World Business Forum is a
unique professional development
experience that is offered to
the members of the business community
at Cineplex Odeon Kingston. Students
and community members attended the
exclusive live stream broadcast straight
from New York City on October first and
second.
Influential professionals from the world
business community attended this event
to take part in the conversation that has so
many people coming back year after year.
World-class speakers such as Jack Welch,
T H E
Denise Morrison, and Ban Zander shared
their inspirational business philosophies
that left long lasting influential impressions
on everyone who experienced this event.
Costron at Investors Group and Ron
Southward from Benefits By Design
are appreciated for sharing their valued
knowledge and for sponsoring the event.
This two-day live stream event was
successful in creating massive twitter
impressions and influencing all 542
individuals who attended. Each individual
was presented with inspiring new
philosophies that can be implemented into
their lives and future careers. There was a
strong impact with over $17,000 raised in
revenues. This was all possible thanks to the
hard working individuals who volunteered
their time to assist with the two day event.
Enactus St. Lawrence College team did a
fantastic job of effectively managing the
event and displaying a strong presence in
the community.
We here at St. Lawrence College are
striving to make a difference in the
community we belong to. The World
Business Forum opens minds on how we
can accelerate change through positive
reinforcement that can impact positive
growth in our communities. With a little
guidance and motivation these individuals
can take their own personal philosophies
and go further and make a positive change
in the world we live in.
