The ITC-SA pays homage to design and excellence at its prized
Annual Timber Engineered Product Awards.

I
n a bid to recognise and reward
outstanding design and workmanship in
the timber construction, decking and
roofing sectors, the Institute for Timber
Construction South Africa (ITC-SA) recently
hosted its highly-anticipated Annual
Timber Engineered Product Awards at the
picturesque D'Aria Winery in Cape Town.
With the built industry’s cream of the
crop in attendance, the event showcased
excellence in the timber construction trade
honouring builders, architects and
engineers of various projects – from decks,
boardwalks and loft room additions, to
timber frame homes and exposed timber
roof trusses.
The awards are open only to timber
frame builder, deck builder, roof fabricator

and roof erector members of the ITC-SA.
Awards categories include Decks and
Boardwalks, Alterations and Additions,
Structures Smaller than 120m 2 , Structures
Larger than 120m 2 , Structures Larger than
220m 2 and Roofing: Residential,
Commercial and Exposed Trusses.
