This season we are taking a close look at how we’re reducing our impact across our entire supply chain. Imagine what the industry would look like if we all did this. We are recycling our way to lower emissions. RECYC LED M ATERIALS This season, 72% of our line by weight is made with recycled materials. By switching to recycled, Patagonia avoided 11,500 metric tons of CO 2 e, enough to power 1,300 homes for one year. Patagonia is lowering our impact on people and the planet across our entire supply chain. Imagine what the industry would look like, if we all did this. We are storing carbon in the soil. REGENERATI VE ORGA N I C AGRI CULTURE We are investing in Regenerative Organic Agriculture farms, with the aim to rehabilitate soil, respect animal welfare, and improve the lives of farmers. This method of farming could provide a carbon sequestration solution to the climate crisis. We have the most Fair Trade Certified sewn styles in the industry. We’ve used organic cotton since 1996. FAIR TRADE C ERTIFIED ™ ORGA N I C COTTON Through our Fair Trade program, we have supported more than 50,000 workers who make our clothes. Fair Trade premiums have been used to support child care centers, scholarships and the purchase of household appliances. All of the virgin cotton in our line is organic and grown without the use of harmful chemicals. By using organic cotton, we save water and reduce CO 2 Informed customers can lead the way.
