Naruto is NOT a good cook, so when he’s
with Sasuke, it’s the latter one who cooks.
Normally Naruto DOESN’T eat vegetables,
but when the raven prepares them he doesn’t
object at all and leaves his plate empty. The
reason for this is that Naruto sees in Sasuke someone that is more than a “partner”, he be-
lieves that everything that Sasuke does for
him must be rewarded and taken fondly, so
he doesn’t complain and chooses to eat it all,
even if he still prefers his RAMEN.
Walking to Orochimaru’s hideout, wounded
after the battle in the Valley of the End, Sasu-
ke thinks “Why I didn’t kill him?... That
would have made me stronger… Why I didn’t
do it? Why I didn’t follow the same path as
Itachi? No… It’s not that…” And without
wanting it he’s remembering Naruto, all the times they had been together as a team…as
friends… always back to back, his best friend,
the one with the radiant smile. “I just coul-
dn’t… This way we’ll meet again… Even if it’s
on opposite sides, I want to go into battle with
him…”
After…That, Sasuke had learned alone. re was a detail he couldn’t explain, a tortuous
doubt that he tried to solve by questioning
