ananeko123: What is your motivation for
drawing Sasuke and Naruto in differents situa-
tions?
snow124-art: Sometimes it's music, or fanfic, or
real life situation. Never know what brings you
to them.
ananeko123: What kind of music?
snow124-art: Any kind of music, it depends on a
song or a melody, not on special type.
ananeko123: In most of your drawings Naruto
does not have his whiskers. Is there a reason?
snow124-art: Yes, I have my reasons. I write
about them in a few posts here
This thing with whisker marks on my arts.
I don’t draw them sometimes not because I don’t
like how they look. To me, it shows my attitude
to Kishimoto. Even if I don’t like the way he fi-
nished the manga, he is the author, and since I am
also an author, I want to respect his decision
(even if it’s a stupid decision). So I decided that if I
draw something that does not match at his story,
it would be not absolutely his own characters
(this is mostly about SNS).
Something like:
Kishimoto: How dare you do this to my Naruto?
Me: But look, this is not absolutely your Naruto,
he’s mine version of Naruto. Everything is fine.
(but it’s not like I think that Naruto or Sasuke or
anybody else belongs to me, of course not)
From the other side, when I draw modern AU
there is no Kurama inside Naruto or Kushina, so
why does he have to wear those whiskers?
ananeko123: For you, who is harder to draw?
Sasuke or Naruto?
snow124-art: Sometimes I can draw their faces
in a few moves of my arm, sometimes I can't
catch it for hours. But it doesn't depends on
whom I draw, they are different but no one har-
der than the other.
ananeko123: How did you get your own art
style?
snow124-art: Do I have my own art style?
ananeko123: Of course! The fandom, immedia-
tely, recognizes your art style. Soft line art,
beautiful colors, looks of love. So, yeah, you ha-
ve an amazing style!
snow124-art: Well I don't do anything special
for that, it's just the way I draw. Thank you.
ananeko123: Have you ever lost your inspira-
tion to draw? What do you do to get it back?
snow124-art: Sometimes. I just change my sub-
ject, do something else. It's not that you always
can just made it come back, sometimes you have
to let it go and wait. But sometimes I spend hours
by trying to draw even when I'm 99% sure I will
not g et anything good from it.
