Are you ready to die of laughter yet again? Charlie Chaplin returns in his brand new picture, The Gold Rush! Watch as the lone prospector, played by Chaplin himself, travels to Alaska in search of gold, yet finds more than what he bargained for. This hilarious comedy is sure to take your troubles off of your mind and will leave you in stitches!
It’ s been ten years since Charlie Chaplin debuted as his signature character“ the Tramp,” and we couldn’ t have loved these five years even more. Families across America went to theaters every weekend to see the man himself in pictures such as The Kid, A Woman of Paris, and A Dog’ s Life. Throughout all of these works, Chaplin captivated audiences with his bumbling portrayal of the Tramp, and although he’ s been playing the same man for a decade now, we can’ t wait to see what else he can offer us. It’ s always great to forget about the bustling, crazy world around us and lose yourself in a hilarious Chaplin picture. It certainly helps with getting your mind off of your worries.
Personally, I haven’ t met a single person who hasn’ t seen a Chaplin picture, and everyone I’ ve met who has seen loves the man. His humorous walk, look, and charm seems to captivate anyone who sees him. A Chaplin movie truly is a great way to spend a couple hours with friends!
Chaplin’ s next picture, The Circus, debuts on January 6, 1928. Watch as he performs his circus antics and even gets trapped in a lion’ s cage!
