NEILY DICKERSON
Industry vet and owner of The
ND Co. stopped by to shed
light on the in’s and out’s of
marketing and promotions
for RYZE listeners and read-
ers. With more than 20 years
experience under her belt,
Ms. Dickerson thought it not
robbery to share depth on the
need for rapport, relation-
ships and networking with us.
Ms. Dickerson has an amazing
resume and portfolio of work
that speaks volumes to her
business acumen. With rela-
tionship and work ethic Neily
set the trail ablaze at the
tender age of 17 and has not
looked back. We could really
learn more than a few things
from her wealth of knowl-
edge.
Throughout our time together
we talk about the pioneering
period, as she launched her
career at A&M Records, while
in Jr. College; to moving fur-
ther in her endeavors with a
commencement at Howard
University. After college, Neily
returned home and to the
industry working at Sparrow
Records, which is Motown Re-
cords today. She then moved
on to work with Jimmy Jam
and Terry Lewis for a couple
years. After which, she moved

on to work with Vicki
Mac, founder of Gospel
Centric a couple years
until 97, when she found-
ed The ND Co.
The ND Co. has repre-
sented the likes of Karen
Clark-Sheard, Yolanda Ad-
ams, Bishop Jakes, Tyler
Perry films, and Sunday
Best. Initially hired to
make the Gospel commu-
nity aware, Ms. Dickerson
moved on to talent pro-
ducer then associate
producer for approxi-
mately five years. But
it does not stop there,
Neily added management
to her to-do-list, with
Vashawn Mitchell and
Nobody Greater. Truly the
list could go on and on.
She’s worked with Donald
Lawrence, Kirk Franklin
and God’s Property, and
so many others.
