CENTER STREET STORY WALK SAT FEB 16 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Downtown Rutland Head to Downtown Rutland with your little ones to kick off Rutland Winter Fest at the Center Street Story Walk! This year’s Story Walk™ features “Mother Bruce” by Ryan T. Higgins. Pick up a map & scavenger hunt at Phoenix Books Rutland and read “Mother Bruce’s” pages in the windows of Center Street shops. Stop in at Rutland Free Library halfway and warmup with a book-making activity, and enjoy free admission(!) at Wonderfeet Kids’ Museum as you walk back down the street. The story will be read every hour, on the hour for the duration of the event at Phoenix Books with appearances by Mother Bruce himself! Children should dress warmly, as most of the pages will be read from outside of the participating businesses. This event counts toward your participation in Come Alive SAT FEB 16 Outside Vermont’s Winter passport.
