Robichaud will be in the center of the front line. Starling will be playing some defense and will also go up on the line to take advantage of his danger- ous shot. Also on the roster are Cortland Hus- sak, William Lee, Dustin Clarke, Mike Vitagliano and Chance Passmore. “I am hoping we will be competitive right out of the box,” Gallipo said. OTTER VALLEY School is in session. First day of classes: Math, not so good. Last year the Otters were a nothing-to-write-home-about at 5-8- 1. Chemistry: Now this is where the Otters get a good grade as they head into the new season. Richard Williams feels this team will have outstanding chemistry from the fact that so many of them have been playing together for so long. That is especially so for Maxwell Williams, Josh Letourneau, Justin Tremblay and Sawyer Heath. The four seniors have come up through the var- sity ranks together starting with their freshman year. They have that sense of where one another is on a soccer field. Williams is a midfielder, Letourneau a striker, Tremblay will be either on defense or at midfield and Heath a defender. Nate Claessens will be a mid- fielder-goalie and Clay Hayes a goalie-midfielder. Reilly Shannon will be the outside midfield player and Ethan Sulik-Doty another midfield performer. Other returning players who will be on the field are Sawyer Pierpont, Sam Scholar, Collin Elliott and Billy Mattson. Freshmen include Bradley Dan- forth, Lane Eddy, Cole Letourneau and Sawyer McCullough. “This team is athletic and most of the players have played together and have varsity experience,” Williams said. He hopes those are the ingredients for an improved season that begins on Sept. 5 when the Twin Valley Wildcats pay a visit to Markowski Field. PROCTOR The two-time defending champion Phantoms are younger than they have been in a long time. Derek Almond is the only returning senior. They also are the leanest as this is one of the smallest rosters in recent memory in the Marble Town. There is one other senior and he will be starting in goal: Jake Bartlett
