LADIES IN PIGS ENTER

THEIR 3RD DECADE IN STYLE !
Ladies in Pigs ( LIPs ), who promote and educate all ages about the British pig industry , are entering their 30th year in style , with a rebrand of all aspects of the business .
As a new year begins , a new fresh look was needed to reflect the way the organisation is evolving .
“ The team at Ladies in Pigs have always represented British farmers and promoted their work . We have also been working hard within education to inspire the next generation to enjoy and use British Red tractor produce including pork as their food of choice .
The rebrand will , we hope , inspire a younger demographic to become members of LIPs , to continue the work and to compliment the amazing members we have had since the start !” states Chairwoman , Debbie Wilson .
Over the years , there has been some confusion about who Ladies in Pigs are and what their purpose is ! They are all about education and information about British pork and are often seen demonstrating its varied uses by giving away free samples to all visitors they see ! They also have a fully interactive , handson educational programme that is mapped to both the primary and secondary curriculum .
Through the work that has been done for the new look , this message is now clear for anyone who sees the team out and about across the country ! A big focus has been on making activities more interactive and engaging for visitors , including the new website .
The team are safely able to resume their live events , which are now bookable through the website and in the future all the other parts of the rebrand will be rolled out across the country as larger events begin to come back .
When you see Ladies in Pigs at an event , or you work with them , you will now see a modern , streamlined and coordinated look to all their delivery ; but there will still be the friendly , informative , and approachable team of ladies that have been delivering the message of the amazing British Red Tractor farmers for nearly 3 decades !
Stewart Houston from Red Tractor ( the assurance scheme that ensures high welfare produce ) adds “ Well done ladies for achieving 30 years of being the Beacon of Light for the pig industry . The new team are building on the start the stalwarts made all those years ago . The founding members epitomised the determination of the industry to win through , no matter the odds ! Debbie is rising to the new challenges pig farmers are facing , encouraging young ladies to support the work they do informing shoppers of the versatility of pork .”
