Running for a Worthy Cause
One of the greatest aspects of the South
African running community is its willingness
to support worthy causes through voluntary
donations to official race charities. This has seen
runners and walkers taking part in the FNB Run Your
City Series collectively raise R806,740 across 12
races in Cape Town, Joburg and Durban from 2015
to 2019. This money has been dispensed to race
charities focused on education, the environment,
animal rescue as well as health and wellness. Now
you have the opportunity to support these worthy
causes by supporting one or more of the official
event charities of the FNB RYCS Heritage Day
