Their Tomir 02 has been improved by listening to runners’ feedback. The brand says it’ s built stronger than the previous model, meaning it’ s more durable, resistant and comfortable. There’ s 360 thread nylon stitching in the upper, new anti-slip fabric laces, and the new rocker and midsole geometry was designed to deliver a smoother, lowerimpact run. More cushioning using a new and lighter foam compound also delivers energy savings.

If you struggle to accumulate mileage without pain or discomfort, they could be for you. The Nitrofoam midsole has a 46mm heel stack height for maximum cushioning, comfort and bounce. That level of cushioning exceeds racing regulations, and it weighs 330g in size 10.5, but it’ s not designed as a racer but to jack up your mileage in comfort. Certainly the supermax cushioning with propulsion in every stride makes your training and recovery miles feel effortless. An engineered mesh upper re-enforced with PWRTAPE provides premium breathability, a rolled collar reinforced with foam ensures a comfortable fit and the PumaGrip durable rubber sole provides assured multi-surface traction.

We haven’ t tested them yet, but hear that runners in Europe are finding them comfortable on sand roads. A resistant and breathable mesh upper pairs with a Bounce Foam midsole for an elastic response( especially good on tar), while the geometry of the I-Respond outsole is designed for enhanced thrust and greater energy return. The upper may be very light but with EXO construction and Scarpa’ s SockFit System, it provides stability and protection on rougher roads, and the outsole is durable and grippy enough to manage a full-blown trail. Stack height is 28mm heel to 24mm toe.
