After had lunch, we decided to try water ski! It looks really scared to me and made me to stay on the sand beach. But my friend offered to teach me water skiing.

“Oh my gosh! This is crazy! It is really fun! Come one in Yun! Let’s try this!”

“Well, let me just sit here and looking at you playing! It’s ok!”

“No way! You couldn’t stand there and spend precious time here at Yesou. Come here! The guide will help you to enjoy the water skiing safely!”

Learning how to water ski was not as difficult as it looked!

Feeling of advancing set forward, splitting the waves and water drops splashing over my face felt really cool. I think it was refreshing and a totally new experience which can be enjoyed only in summer.

And the two weeks over at Yeosu passed quickly. The first day as a volunteer, was very excited!

Although we got assigned to the different unit, we did our best at each position. Showed the way to the spectators, distributed the brochures, cleaned the booth after close. And in the morning, before we start our volunteering work we went out and watched a dazzling show of oriental dance or tasted delicious food.

But the day by day my condition got worst, desperated. The heat in August was intolerable. And the number of spectators went against our expectations. I couldn’t collect myself as some children were running all over the place. But fortunately, most kids all behaved well. And the most visitors were followed the rules of the show, and behaved politely. And we have met kind and considerate people who were friendly to us. It’s important that we shared the precious memories while staying at Yeosu. It felt really great about having completed my work as a volunteer successfully. And mere fact that we were involved in the event makes us feel glorious.
