In a world of seven billion people, skin color inevitably divides us into different groups. Racism, a sensitive and aggressive word, is resisted by the whole world, but still invisible and potentially in people's lives. In the United States, a 19-year-old girl witnessed her African-American boyfriend being misunderstood by the police and even shot (Cadet 2013). I applied my subjective statement to help Chinese teenagers who plan to study abroad in the United States to cope with discrimina- tion appropriately based on the understanding and analysis of the racial events I men- tioned earlier. Literature Analysis By comparing the different endings between the Trayvon Martin trial and story The Hate U Give, it might also be noted that the reciprocal relationship needs to be maintained and protected by both African-Americans and the police. In February 2012, Tracy Martin was visiting his father, in Sanford, Florida, while the community administrator Zimmerman claimed to shoot him because of his suspicious behavior in self-defence. Rachel Jeantel, the star witness of this event, was on the phone with Trayvon Martin the night he was killed. She attended to testimony but led Zimmerman to be eventually acquitted without
