Situado en uno de los mejores barrios residenciales de Madrid, una de las premisas importantes del proyecto
era realizar una arquitectura acorde con la imagen sobria y tranquila de la zona.
Son representativas en los edificios de alrededor las terrazas y jardineras, que juegan un papel importante
en la fachada. Sin perder estas particularidades y dada la edificabilidad y número de alturas permitidas, buscábamos dar al edificio una imagen potente y moderna.
El proyecto se desarrolla en siete plantas de viviendas, ubicadas entre los niveles primero y séptimo, y un
soportal porticado donde los portales se conforman como jaulas de cristal permitiendo así la permeabilidad
de todas las zonas comunes del inmueble, y a su vez aligerando visualmente el edificio.
Se diseñan cuatro tipologías de viviendas de gran superficie, conformando ocho por planta, haciendo que
todas las piezas habitables exteriores tengan huecos a dos o tres fachadas, enfatizando así la alta eficiencia
energética del edificio. Aparecen terrazas de gran tamaño, como continuación de los salones, combinadas
con jardineras, siendo estos dos elementos los protagonistas en la composición arquitectónica de la fachada.
La jardinería interior, parte importante del proyecto, se trata con plantas autóctonas de hoja caduca para
permitir la entrada del sol en invierno y perenne según orientación, para crear barreras visuales y físicas permanentes.

Located in one of the best residential areas of Madrid, one of the major premises of the project was to develop
architecture to match the sober and peaceful image of the area.
Terraces and planters are distinctive elements of the buildings around which play an important role in the
facades. We wanted to give the building a powerful and modern look while preserving these peculiar features
and taking the floor area and number of floors allowed into account.
The project consists of seven floors of apartments, located between the first and seventh levels, and a colonnaded portico where the gates have been shaped as glass cages, thus providing permeability to all common
areas of the property as well as making the building visually lighter.
Four types of spacious apartments have been designed -eight per floor- so that all the exterior dwellings have
rooms that open onto two or three facades, thus highlighting the high energy efficiency of the building. Large
terraces appear as a continuation of the living rooms, and are combined with planters, as these are the two
main elements in the architectural composition of the facade.
Interior landscaping, an important part of the project, includes native deciduous plants, to let in the sunlight
during the winter, or perennial plants based on orientation, in order to create permanent visual and physical
barriers.
