be encouraging enough younger
players to play the game. That is
something which our mini and
junior section work hard on both
retaining players and encouraging
new players.
Off the field we need to continue
to work hard to make sure that our
clubhouse is self-sufficient so that
we have a secure base from which
to continue to grow. There’s a lot of
competition for people’s time so we
always keep pushing to make sure

“I was an ex player at Aberdare who came through the
mini section as a 6-year-old. Both my brothers Anthony and
John play for the club with John competing in the 2nd row
and Anthony being a no 8. They have all played together with
me being a no 6.
There is a great mentality at the club managing to
get over the winning line. I stopped playing due to work
commitments and my business www.backtofrontphyio.com
are a sponsor. Best wishes to everyone at the club for the
season’s remainder.”

continue to aim to play at the highest
level possible whilst remaining
financially responsible.”
“As a local boy I played up to youth rugby for the club until
life got in the way. I’m still a huge rugby fan and supporter of
Aberdare. As a youth player I was a centre or winger and as a
rugby fan I appreciate the demands for players to perform at
higher levels is huge. My company Triax are a long-standing
sponsor and we wish everyone at the club all the best of
continued success.”
