Rugby Club Magazine recently caught up with Club Representative Ross Mcfarlane to find out more about how the club has been getting along lately. Ross told us, “I’ve been with the club for around thirty years now; the club has developed brilliantly in that time, going from nearly folding to being very successful. There is still a lot of work to do but we are slowly getting there. I think the commitment of the 36 Issue 87 volunteers and the players has been key to the progress that we have made, it is a really positive group of people that we have here now. “With the seniors we came second and although we would have liked to win the league we are very pleased that we won promotion. We’re confident of our ability to compete in the league above, we’ll just need to step up our training a little bit to adjust and we’re all looking forward to the challenge. It will be good for us and the players to be playing in
