Wadebridge Camels RFC is based on Egloshayle Road in Cornwall and
their first team currently competes in the Tribute Western Counties
West League. They are led by the team of President Graham Boyling
and Chair Andrew Hawkey and the club is looking to progress under
their guidance.

Their first team put together a solid league
campaign this time around as they compiled a
record of thirteen wins, one draw and twelve
defeats from their twenty-six matches played.
This saw them finish in the top half of the table
with 66 points on the board.
This should provide them with a solid platform
on which to build as they prepare for their 2019/20
campaign. As long as they are able to retain their
current group of players and can perhaps make
one or two quality additions they should be in with
a good chance of pushing on next time around.
Perhaps the highlight of the club’s season
was their triumph in the Tribute Cornwall Cup
which they won for the first time in seven years.
They defeated holders St. Ives 30-26 in a highly
entertaining encounter at Redruth. It was the
same two teams that had contested the final a
year earlier with the defeat from last year (20-19)
being turned around in another classic encounter
between the sides.
Wadebridge is not a club to focus solely upon
their senior section however and this is reflected
by the fact that they also run a number of youth
