Club Representative Reuben Young recently took the time to tell us more about the good work they’ve been doing lately. RC: How long have you been involved and what first attracted you to the club? RY: I have been in my role as Communications Executive for under six months, what attracted me to the club was the set up and professional outlook it gave on my first visit as well as the chance to put my own creativity and spin on the media content. RC: What are the most challenging and rewarding aspects of your role? RY: The rewarding aspects are the creativity I have in the role to produce content and put onto social media, being able to see the rewards and 78 Issue 83 building the online presence of the club, which I have managed to do in my time here so far. The challenging aspects are making sure I am organised and create time to finish content before deadlines. RC: How’s the general mood down at the club at the moment? RY: The general mood is a positive one at Doncaster Knights. The club is heading in the right direction and has made strides for a sustainable future with a new AGP pitch most recently being opened on site at Castle Park and a new hybrid pitch for first team matches being put in place last season.
