Firstly, GMS makes managing your club and
its bottom line much easier. Because GMS
is linked back into the RFU’s database, clubs
can access all that data and ensure they know
who their members actually are. Anyone who’s
responsible for your club’s membership will tell
you how challenging and enormous a task that
can really be, yet that income stream is vital to
the club’s prosperity.
Furthermore, once you can identify who’s a
member – and who’s not! - you can keep track
of them in terms of their subscription payments
and the various purchases like equipment,
match tickets, function bookings and most
relevantly, at the bar.
The full integration of GMS with our EPoS
system means you’re still running the club via
one membership database. The members all

get cards and accounts to use at the bar, but
the EPoS system’s using the same database.
When GMS and our EPoS are working
together, and ours is the only one that can be
fully integrated with GMS, it also becomes much
easier for the club to invoice your members,
especially families where you can set up several
subscriptions within one e-mail.
Members get the benefits and services
they want
With our fully integrated Electronic Point
of Sale system (EPoS), you can then create
new ways of rewarding your members for their
loyalty and support wherever and whenever you
want, because our EPoS system works using
loyalty cards and accounts those members can
use at the club.
Your members put money on their cards i.e.
on their club accounts which generates the
club a positive cash flow. In turn you can reward
them with a level of discount agreed by the club
– often around 10% discount - each time they
use their cards to purchase drinks.
This helps drive their card using habit, as
does another massive benefit, topping up their
cards online via your website. This feature
reduces the need to top up while they’re at the
bar, and also enables them to buy tickets etc. to
social events in advance.
It also means you can reset the RRP of the
drinks’ prices so that you’re able to charge
visitors, and more relevantly, those who hire the
club’s facilities for outside functions etc., the
going rate for drinks.
