Ian Pritchard has had a long and positive association with Drybrook Rugby Club more recently through sponsorship with his business Mowtech . He told Rugby Club Magazine , “ What a great club run by great people ! Much praise must go to the parents and coaches of our junior section who have year in year out kept enthusiasm high amongst our boys and girls .”
“ 16 of our 23 man senior squad came through the ranks and coupled with the clubs firm but unanimous decision , by committee and players alike , to steadfastly maintain our amateur ethics make Drybrook Rugby Club ’ s success even more remarkable . We are the envy of many clubs and many more are baffled by how a little village club in Drybrook have reached such heights .

Graham Sleeman of club sponsor GLS Windows recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine about his long association with Drybrook Rugby Club , saying , “ I played mainly junior rugby for the club starting as a fifteen year old and switched between my other sport , football , as the years rolled on . I usually played on the wing but would fill in where needed .” “ My playing days ended in my 30s but I have always remained connected to the club mainly because it is such a friendly , family orientated environment . My business , GLS , have sponsored Drybrook for over ten years now and it ’ s been great to give something back . “ Last season was a fantastic achievement and the players played exceptionally well , going beyond all expectations .
