Editor’s Welcome
With the new season drawing closer clubs are now finishing off their pre-season work as they prepare for the new campaign.
Issue 80 of Rugby Club Magazine visits a number of sides that were successful last time around to see how they are getting
along.
Among these we have Cowbridge who are our Welsh Team of the Season 2017-18 and Thanet Wanderers who will be in a new
league this season as well as Drybroke and Pembroke.
We also visit Kings Cross Steelers, the first gay men’s club who enjoyed an unbeaten season and Chippenham who have built
a reputation for playing fast, attacking rugby.
Also in this issue we feature a number of clubs playing an important role in their local community including Wellington, Bradford
on Avon and Strathendrick.
We are always keen to hear from anyone with a story to tell so whether you wish to promote a business, a club, individuals,
initiatives or products please do not hesitate to contact our editorial team at [email protected] or call me directly on 0191
447 8383.
Yours in Sport
Jamie Seymour
