Norrie Edgar is the captain of Hillfoots Vets. He recently
told Rugby Club Magazine, “I am usually up and down the
country supporting the club and my most favourite time is
being out on the grass supporting the lads and supporting
them before a match. It has been a great season for the
club and defensively they have been something else.
Junior rugby is thriving and the amount of people getting
involved in touch rugby is great to witness. My business,

and I like to help out when I can. I would like to congratulate

Paul Slade is a current front row player for Hillfoots Rugby
Club who played this season alongside brothers Keith
and Michael. He recently told Rugby Club Magazine,
“My two older brothers played with me in the front row,
Keith as Hooker and Michael Tight Head. I really became
involved with Hillfoots through following my brothers to
the club as an eight year old – Keith would have been
11/12 and Michael 15 when I was introduced to Hillfoots so
we are all products of the clubs system.”
“Everything seemed to come together this year and we
are definitely ready for the higher division. Although our
coach will change we will still maintain the forward and
backs momentum with the same coaches and the same
model which our new coach can add to.
