Bridgend Athletic
Gavin David is a principal club sponsor of Bridgend
Athletic with his business CRD Precision engineering.
He recently told Rugby Club Magazine, “I started
playing for the club as an 18 year old as a back row
player before moving to the centre and wing. I
continued playing up until the age of 29 when work
and family commitments had to take precedence.”
“I helped coach the clubs mini and junior rugby section
whilst my son Alex was playing, at the moment Alex
isn’t playing but that may well change in the future as
he is only 13 at present. As I said, work commitments
have limited my time and I have only been to one game
this last season which was against Tondu. The boys put
on an excellent performance and I was very impressed
by their play, defence and passing skills.
“Bridgend Athletic is a great rugby club which I am
proud to be part of, they have many characters at the
club and I have good friends down there. I would
encourage everyone on the pl aying side to keep up the
good work and best wishes to everyone associated with
