This can be hard when you are working full time as many
of us do, but when we have a great season such as this one,
resulting in promotion, then of course the hard work all
becomes worthwhile. This is especially sweet as the club has
endured some really tough times over the last fifteen or so
years, when we have on many occasions struggled to put a side
on the field.”

“Currently things are bouncing! A successful season, now
coming to an end, and everyone looking forward to end-

of-season Tour in Wigan. It has been great to enjoy a very
successful season on the field, so extremely gratifying for all
concerned.
With promotion obviously comes a new set of challenges.
We will be playing in a higher division, and so it is critical that
we retain as many players from this current squad as possible.
We are hopeful that we can be reasonably safe in the division,
knowing many of the sides that we will be competing against.
We aren’t naive enough to think that we are ready to challenge
for the top positions just yet, but obviously that will be a target
in the future.”
