Tom Doyle is a long standing club sponsor of Chippenham Rugby Club with his business Tom Doyle Plumbing & Heating Installations . He recently told Rugby Club Magazine , “ I have always been a fan of rugby so when my son Nick joined the club as a 6 year old I naturally became involved . Tom is now 33 and still turns out for the club , usually in the 2nds these days , as flanker or 2nd row and has recently recovered from a leg break suffered whilst playing .
“ In those earlier years , as well as being a sponsor , I would help out collecting the subs and it ’ s great to see how mini and junior rugby has continued to develop at Chippenham . Myself and Nick would like to wish everyone at Chippenham Rugby Club all the very best of future success !”

A fostering agency which operates in Chippenham , Trowbridge , Melksham and Warminster has been awarded the highest possible rating in an Ofsted report following a series of visits by government inspectors .

To receive an ‘ Outstanding ’ rating is testament to the fantastic work our team is doing every day across the region , and reflects positively on the young lives being changed for the better by our foster carers .”
Five Rivers is currently looking to recruit foster carers across Wiltshire . There is a shortage of 540 carers in the south west and more than 8,000 across the UK . Five Rivers provides extensive training and support to its foster carers .
