Editor’s Welcome
With the season now over it is left for the summer tours to entertain us. The Australia versus Ireland series is
turning in to a cracker tied at 1-1 whilst there have been plenty of positives for Wales in their successful trip to
Argentina. Unfortunately, if you’re English at least, South Africa have proved to be too strong for Eddie Jones’
side although it has to be said it is great to see the Springboks coming good.
This issue of Rugby Club Magazine takes a look back at teams that have achieved success in the past season
with York, Tylorstown and Blaina among those to have enjoyed tremendous campaigns. We also feature a
number of superbly run clubs including Mersea Island and London French who, it has to be said, are far too
good looking to be a rugby team!
We are always keen to hear from anyone with a story to tell so whether you wish to promote a business, a club,
individuals, initiatives or products please do not hesitate to contact our editorial team at [email protected]
or call me directly on 0191 447 8383.
Yours in Sport
Jamie Seymour
