Rugby Club Magazine recently caught up with Club Representative Darren Hughes to find out more. He told us, “I have been involved with the club since playing rugby at under 13’s which is over 32 years ago. I became involved in the committee 20 years ago of which 14 years I have been club Secretary. I have always been involved in the club; it’s like my 2nd home.” “The financial running of the club is the most challenging part of my role. With five other clubs in the valley it is 26 Issue 76 hard competing for trade and keeping the business going particularly in the off season.
