United servcies
Portsmouth
Dave Reed of The White Horse recently took the
time to tell us more about his positive association
with the club, saying, “I moved to Portsmouth nine
years ago. I have two sons that play for the club
and am an ex-player myself. I was a hooker and
also played outside centre.
My oldest son David plays in the 1st team as a
second row and my youngest son Jake also plays
as a second row in the 2nd team. Fortunately, I
have a very understanding wife so am able to get to
as many games as possible. We have sponsored
the club for eight years now and I’d encourage
everyone involved to work hard, play hard and
continue to enjoy your rugby.”

season, currently unbeaten in the league. led to us sitting top of Snow Hampshire One even though we
started with a five point deduction.
RC: How would you say the start to the season has gone for
the club? RN: We plan to grow the links with the mini and junior
section further so that we can enable young stars of the future
to come through and eventually play 1st team rugby for United
Services. We hope to continue our development on the pitch,

in us finishing in a favourable position in the league.
RN: We have always stated that this is a year for
