Llantwit Major “The club is the centre of the community for Llantwit Major Village as we hold and manage the annual Bonfire display as well as hosting the Remembrance Parade involving the local Royal Air Force Station MOD St Athan. We work closely with the local council. “Major annual events for the club are the 10K running event (started in 2015) in the historic town of Llantwit Major that has grown every year with the numbers of competitors and what we call Party on the Pitch (involving a number of bands throughout the day and night, children’s bouncy castle) which is a great family occasion for the community and members. “We have planning permission to build a brand new building to replace the existing clubhouse which will not only improve the Rugby facilities but also the community. We are in the process of raising funds as the project will cost circa £1 million. “The challenge for the club is to carry on being successful and looking at ways to continuously improve the service provided to its members as in today’s climate rugby clubs around Wales are closing at an alarming rate. “The ambitions of the club and committee (who are all volunteers) are to carry on providing the community with a successful rugby team and a facility that will have many memories for all in the past as well as the future.” We are a ‘Specialist IT Support’ company serving clients throughout Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.
