Denise Laird is a club sponsor with her
business Dundas Dental Practice. She
recently told Rugby Club Magazine, “It was
really through my son Lewis Collier that I first
became involved with Falkirk RFC.”
“Lewis moved from school rugby at Larbert
High to Grangemouth Rugby Club as an 11
year old and now plays for Falkirk’s U18s in
their 2nd row. The u18s have been competing
well this year and it’s great to hear how well
the senior sides are doing.
“As a mum I have put in the miles up and
down the country and have cooked the teams
sausages on occasion too. I attended the
ladies day recently which was very enjoyable
and have taken on some sponsorship over
the past year. I would like to wish everyone
associated with Falkirk all the very best for
the future and if you are looking for gum

division. This all augurs well for the
future of the club as both teams are fairly
young. For the first time in my history at
Falkirk we have also put out a 3rd XV on

This Season
“I think it’s fair to say that the season
has gone better than anyone could have
originally thought, we are in a good
position in the league although not in line
for promotion or the play-off spot for the
Premier league, but I think it has proven
to the players and coaches that they are
well equipped to compete at this level.
Gaining promotion as runner-up

expected the boys to be as competitive as
they were, and an enormous amount of
credit must go to them for the hard work
