He recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine about his positive association with Falkirk Rugby Club, saying, “I became involved when my son Jay started as a four year old playing for Falkirk’s mini’s and this progressed into becoming a real family affair. In the last couple of seasons we have been able to boast a full complement of teams at every age group from Primary 1 all the way to U18. We have also established a Girls U15 team and are establishing both a girls U18 team and woman’s team. I do take pride when I see young players from our U18s graduate to playing for our First XV.” Atmosphere “The general mood at the club at the moment is fairly buoyant. Both our First XV and Second XV achieved promotion in their respective league this season, so were playing in uncharted territory.
