Jed -Forest Jimmy Raeburn is a club sponsor with his business JC Raeburn Electrician & Security Engineer. He recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine, saying, “I played school rugby and the natural step up was to play for Jed Forest. My playing career started in 1980 and continued into the late 80s where I played hooker and captained the club for two seasons, shortly after that a shoulder injury put an end to my playing career. After this I continued on the clubs committee and have been there ever since. My business has been a club sponsor for the past 20 years and I like to help out whenever I can. The boys are competing well this season and I would like to wish everyone associated with the club the very best of continued success!” EARTHWORKS CIVIL ENGINEERING / GROUNDWORKS CRUSHING, QUARRYING & RECYCLING STABILISATION / REMEDIATION LANDFILL GROUND MODELLING GOLF COURSES AND SPORTS PITCHES TRAINING Gary Young is the principal shirt sponsor of Jed Forest RFC with his business RJT Excavations. He recently told Rugby Club Magazine, “I played rugby at the club for many years and with having three boys Gregor, Lewis and Callum who came through the clubs mini system and now playing for the seniors, I naturally coached as well. The club do very well with the resources they have but having such a small catchment area means they are restricted; the good younger players coming through the youth system are a real bonus to the club. Myself and staff at RJT would like to wish everyone at Jed Forest Rugby Club all the best for the future!” www.rugbyclub.biz 45
