We commissioned High House Farm Brewery , Matfen to brew a PRFC 50th Anniversary Ale which is now on sale . The ale is 3.6 ABV and has the description , “ this golden brew is a thirst quenching beer . Packed with flavours of summer berries with a pleasant biscuit finish .”
We are just about ready to send our 50th Anniversary Book to the publishers and this will be launched very soon . The culmination of our celebrations is the 50th Anniversary Dinner which will be held on Friday 2nd June at The Assembly Rooms , Newcastle . Our guest speakers will be David Trick and George McNeill . Attendance is capped at 300 and it is hoped that many of our 1st XV club captains since 1967 will be in attendance .”
