RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB

First established in 1876 , Plymouth Albion RFC plays their home games at the Brickfields Recreation Ground in Plymouth . There first team currently competes in National League 1 and they are a fantastic example of a well-run , community establishment .

So far this season their first team has put together a fine campaign , having compiled a record of eighteen wins and six defeats from their twenty four matches . This has left them sitting in 2nd place in the league with 90 points on the board .
Whilst it will be difficult for them to catch the leaders , they will be looking to finish off with a good run of results in order to go out on a high . This would provide them with a solid platform from which to build ahead of their 2017 / 18 campaign . As long as they are able to retain their current group of players they should be set up for another successful season .
Their most recent result was an impressive 26-9 bonus point victory over Hull Ionians which made it seven wins on the bounce . The team sets a high standard however and player / coach
Kieran Hallet explained to the club ’ s official website www . plymouthalbion . com that they were disappointed with the performance .
He said , “ I keep saying we are performance orientated not outcome orientated . Yes , we have won but everyone is disappointed . We are disappointed with a five-point win at home because of the way we have played . What we are trying to build
