Frank Stephen is the immediate past president of Caithness Rugby Club . He recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine , saying , “ I am originally from Aberdeenshire but arrived in the north well over 40 years ago .
“ I played in the clubs 2nd row for a few seasons but unfortunately my work commitments weren ’ t able to fit in with my weekend rugby . I am still a committee member and take on the responsibility
of our clubhouse , a special thanks and appreciation has to go to our volunteers who make teas and soups on match days and who are a great help in keeping our club house running smoothly .
“ As a club , one of our biggest challenges is travel with 400 mile trips not uncommon , something I suppose the players have to get used to . Tommy McGee has had a huge influence on our club and this has been demonstrated by the enthusiasm he has instilled in our players .
“ A special thanks has also to go to BBM Solicitors who were a great help in our recent vat battle , by pointing us in the direction of Edinburgh QC Philip Simpson who gave us excellent representation .
“ Our clubhouse sign reads Caithness RFC Community Pavilion which tells its own story of what a community based club we are . With the highest fan base in the league , we are very fortunate to have such a large support . I would like to thank all of our supporters and wish members of Caithness Rugby Club the very best of continued success .”
Florence Fisher recently spoke to Rugby Club Magazine about BBM Solicitor ’ s positive association with Caithness Rugby Club , saying , “ Our Company have now established itself firmly within the region , opening our Wick branch back in 2010 with our main line of work being insolvency and working within the commercial property market .
“ Joanna Morris from BBM has the most contact with Caithness Rugby Club and attends events and matches organised by the club . All in all the rugby club have a very positive influence on our community and we regularly receive positive feedback about how well they are doing .
