Moray “We do consider our club to be a community club. We welcome all levels and abilities. Members of the club have been active in helping others in our local communities.” He told us, “The club at the moment is very buoyant. Numbers at senior level through preseason and to date have been excellent and up on previous years. We’ve also had good numbers at micro level, some challenges at youth levels but are combining well with other local clubs short of numbers with the aim to get teams out playing games. “The start to the season at senior level was really good as we were left sitting one point off the top of the BT Caledonia League Division 2 North (West) having won 5, with bonus points, and only lost one. “We recently had a 10-a-side 2nd team fixture and hope to get more fixtures for a second side in the near future which would be significant as we have not had a second team for a long number of years. P4/5 won Positive Coaching Trophy recently at the Huntly tournament. “Our ambitions for the rest of the campaign are to keep numbers up at training, keep improving, finish top of Division 2 North (West) at the half way point of the season and go on to win the combined Division 2 North. “Youth rugby is very important to the club and key in the development of the club as well as growth of rugby itself.
