so the club is careful the transition to
the adult game is carefully managed for
the good of the players and the game in
general.
It has been said that Old Albanian
RFC has fostered a situation in which
our game can be offered at a high level
to both sexes and at ages from 3 to 63! No
prouder boast is possible! It is the club’s
intention to promote this Community
spirit with every effort.
The facilities on offer are first class
but are constantly under review. Repair
work to the Clubhouse goes alongside
constant ground maintenance and is
expertly managed by the Trustees. It is
always a pleasure to hear visitors remark
on the high standards available.
The next five years will test the
resolve of all; but then so did the last
five! The Club Management will look to
provide more of the same but it will all
come down to attention to detail, on the
field and off. Strategy will come from
that.
Suffice it to say there is a tough act to
follow. Immediately the club will attempt
to ensure there are five senior male
sides and two female (for the moment!)
all properly coached. The mini/junior
juggernaut will roll on under careful
supervision. If this remains for the next
five years (and beyond) it will be the
proudest of achievements! That is the
stated aim.
