Bob played for the Eds senior teams first at 17, but
was soon lured to the bright lights of the Nuns, the
town team. Then onto Coventry and Moseley.
After a 21 year gap and moving back into the area
Bob was lured back to the Eds and some proper
rugby. Nearly 20 years later the Eds has still got its
hooks firmly in!

the old boys reunions and sponsor a game or two
over the last few years, it’s been a privilege for
Clive (despite having never played for the Eds and
an ex Manor Park captain) and I to help support
the Eds. The club creates a great social centre for
the town and a rugby community for development
